Let me tell you a story. Because I’m willing to bet we’re alike in many ways.

I was always very insecure. I had the feeling I didn't fit in, I wasn't good enough, and if I showed the world how I really felt and who I really was nobody would like me. If you looked at me you couldn't tell though. I was a good student, later successful in my career, and my tattoos and crazy hair colors projected an image of confidence. But while I usually appeared very tough on the outside, I was a total mess on the inside: insecure, sad, and depressed. 

I was smoking, drinking, and stuffed my face with muffins, chocolate, and other sweets to numb the pain and to cope with my insecurities.

I was a regular in the ER with anxiety attacks, my eating habits worsened, and I was prescribed anti-depressants that didn’t really seem to help.

But sometime along the way, I started going to the gym. Not only did I lose a few unwanted pounds, tone up, and become healthier; I also became way more confident. I looked at myself in a new way. I started LOVING myself, and not a thing anyone said could change that. I realized there’s absolutely nothing wrong with me. I knew it was OK to be the woman I wanted to be, I knew I was worthy, and I knew I would always be good enough!!

We don’t need to “fit in.” We don't need to compare ourselves to others. Our differences, our uniqueness, our weirdness, are gifts. They make us who we are and should be celebrated. And if others don’t like the way we are? Too bad!

We don’t need approval from anyone else when we love ourselves.

I refused to hold back a second longer. I learned about nutrition and exercise, figured out how to shift my mindset, and developed long-term healthy habits. I studied Social Psychology, earned my personal trainer certification, got more tattoos and changed my hair color again ;) I was on a mission. I wanted, more than anything, to help other women step out of society’s shadow and live life on their own terms. I wanted to empower them to love themselves, believe in themselves, and be happy and confident.

And to me, there’s no better way to love yourself than by combining fitness, mindset, and a healthy lifestyle.

I know how monumentally hard it can feel when you want something so bad, but don’t know how to get there. There’s never a “perfect time” to get fit. How can there be when our lives are so full? But you’re here, still reading this. That tells me you’re finally ready to make the change.

Twice-a-week workouts become once-a-month-workouts. You don’t know what to made for dinner. You feel tired and overwhelmed. Your determination dies, and you give up. You think it’s too hard, and you’re obviously not meant to love your body. What’s the point in even trying...

You know what? That’s BS.

You can get fitter. You can eat better. You can cultivate a healthy lifestyle and mindset. You just gotta put the work in. The Better Mind - Better Body Coaching Program shows you how to break down the barriers stopping you from being where you want to be, and shows you how to get the most out of the work you put in.

Custom Workouts

You’ll get a 100% personalized workout and cardio plan, tailored to your goals, preferences, and schedule. I’ll monitor your feedback and progress, and update the plan 2-3 times during the program. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have access to a gym – I want you to workout wherever you feel most comfortable.

Nutrition Guidelines

You’ll get access to comprehensive nutrition guidelines as soon as you sign up. You’ll use them to create your own healthy meals without having to follow a tedious meal plan. Then, I’ll give you tailored advice so you can get the best results from your diet. I never just throw meal plans at you because you’ll learn nothing that way. But when you understand how to make nutrition work for you, you’ll be empowered to make the right choices yourself, in any situation. Yep, even at restaurants and in cocktail bars.

Mindset Exercises

A negative, anti-growth mindset sabotages our health and fitness efforts. We tend to dwell on past negative experiences. We tell ourselves we’re not good enough. We don’t believe in our own abilities. I will show you how to cultivate a positive lifestyle and mindset. You’ll get mindset exercises to help you overcome negative thoughts, limiting beliefs, and old habits.


We’ll meet on Skype right after you’ve signed up. I’ll ask questions to find out where you’re currently at and where you want to be. I’ll use the info you give me to create a bespoke workout plan tailored just for you.

Goal Setting

You’ll get a Goal Setting Worksheet that explains how to create the “right” goals: compelling, emotionally-charged, motivation-boosters that pull us out of bed each morning. For example, “I want to lose 5lbs” isn’t nearly so powerful as "I want to have enough energy to play with my children after an 8 hour work day,” or “I want everybody to be jealous of me when I walk into the room at our high school reunion.” Goals like this keep you going, keep you motivated, and push you on the days you just don’t feel like working out.

Weekly Check-ins

I’m there for you every step of the way. I’ll support you if things get tough, keep you on track if you’re overwhelmed or frustrated, and, if you need it, I’ll give you a real kick in the butt to keep you doing what you gotta do to achieve your goals. We’ll keep in touch every single week via email, Skype, or phone calls to discuss your progress, work on your mindset, and get you fired up and dedicated about the coming week.

Jennifer Fidder, M.A.

Professional Personal Fitness Trainer and Mindset Coach

I’ve been training for over 10 years, and I love what I do. I work with women like you because I feel like it's what I was born to do. I coach because I have to. Because if I didn’t, I’d be saying “no” to helping 100s of women feel happy, healthy, and confident.

I have a degree in Social Psychology and qualifications in personal training, cardio training, training for weight management, and food coaching.

Clients choose me because I’m supportive, honest, and I truly care about your journey to fitness - your health goals matter deeply to me. So I’ll push you, hold you accountable, be a shoulder to lean on if you struggle, and I’ll totally kick your butt if you need it.

Before I started the 12-week Better Mind Better Body Program, I didn’t feel comfortable in my skin. I used to be very skinny and could basically eat whatever I wanted without gaining weight. That was until I was 25. Then the pounds started creeping up on me until the scale eventually showed 40 lbs more. I wasn’t obese but I was bloated, my belly seemed to be in the way all the time, and I was tired and sluggish from all the junk I put into my body. None of my clothes fit anymore, so I started wearing mostly super wide, comfy clothes that would hide my figure. Eventually, I started to get depressed and knew I had to change something!

Each session is usually between 20-30 minutes depending on what we are talking about and how much support you need.

I’ll send a questionnaire straight to your email inbox. You’ll fill it out, send it back, and we’ll arrange a time to meet on Skype. During our chat, I’ll find out where you’re at now, what your schedule looks like, and what you want to achieve.
